* 1.5oz Fresh Lemon
* .75oz Honey Simple Syrup**

Combine Monday Mezcal, lemon, and honey syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into your favorite glass. Garnish with honey comb and charred lemon wheel.
**To make honey syrup, combine equal parts honey and water to a small saucepan and heat until the honey has completely dissolved. Let cool before use.

OK so they use spices to get the NA “whiskey” to have bite, In that sense it is better than most other NA Whiskeys I have tried. It blends well with a line and Diet Coke (0 cals for those woh care about that). It also goes great in coffee. I can’t drink real alcohol for many reasons so for me this provides great runner up prize to the real thing. I will order it again.

Having tried many nonalcoholic mixers over the years, we were very pleasantly surprised at how much we have enjoyed our dry February thanks to Monday! The whiskey sour is probably the best NA cocktail we have made, and we are enjoying the Mezcal margarita as well. We use slightly less of the Mezcal than the recipe to get the best results (for us).

Mezcal is much better than the whiskey. Both have a much lighter mouthfeel that real spirits. The whiskey is too sweet - almost tastes like a watered-down old fashioned. They did get some bite on the whiskey but it hits the front of the mouth instead of the back. Mezcal is much better. Mezcal still has a light mouthfeel but at least tastes smokey and spicey. Almost a jalapeno bite to the Mezcal instead of a pepper bite. Don't think I'll purchase again

I appreciate the boldness of the flavor and how this drink feels like a real adult beverage and not just some juices mixed together. I find the Chili gives the drink a little kick, very reminiscent to a traditional boozy cocktail.

The mezcal has a lovely spicy taste reminiscent of actual mescal, I just wish it had a little more smoky flavor to it. As for the recipe included in this kit, I found the mocktail to be a little on the sweet side for my taste. This is due to the bitters being made with glycerin instead of alcohol, so I just adjusted amounts accordingly!
